Our next big plan is to work towards development of the disused tennis courts on Rannoch Drive. Click here to view larger image of the site.

These plans are now advancing with offers of funding now making it possible for us to see the potential in building a tarmacadamed multi use games area which will support basketball, tennis, football and other ball sports.

Along with these plans the grass cutting (or lack of) is now taking shape in several parts of the park with a small range of native plants being visible. The plan will be to cut the grass once only towards the end of the gowing season, allowing the new growth a chance to seed for next year.

Over the next few years this should encourage a wider range of native species to develop into a natural meadow. This will also encourage native insects and small wildlife to make the park their home. So if you start to see any butterflies, bees, small birds or other insects we'd like to know!

Send an email to park.committee@ntlworld.com with any sightings!

As part of our future development we've set up a short survey to try and assess what everyone wants for the Parks in this area. If you missed the popup survey or closed the window before completion you can click here to fill in our survey. Please encourage as many people as possible to fill this in
